“My life’s experience has been a collage of relationships, each one touching me in different ways. Yet each informs my spirit, influencing my art and music reflecting my soul and reminding me that to honor myself and life is to create with kindness.”
– Beth Crookham
Beth has thoughtfully layered her journey with love, relationships and experience. Blending her life as soul art, she has created a natural easy environment, comfortable and strong in her own skin, processing lyrics and life lessons in a soulful sound.
From early midwestern Iowa roots, travels in Communist Russia, landing and working in a quirky southern coastal town with its unique film, theater and soulful arts community, then exploring life and love in Rwanda, she has found home and family across the globe.
It wasn’t until 2004 sitting in a bar that the muse whispered, and she wrote her first lyrics.
Then a pause of 13 years… Beth returned from a life altering visit to Rwanda, so intensely moved and inspired by the people, events and rhythms… the muse once again settled in and hasn’t left.
Beth layers so many universal emotions that are more important now than ever to explore… whether a sensory moment in time or the darkness that can wash over during this new world experience… you will take this voyage back toward the light of kindness.
